Judy's photographic career has seen her win a number of coveted national and international awards including 38 NZIPP Gold and Silver Awards in New Zealand. In 1999, Judy along with Hallmark Cards received the "Best Photographic Range" of Greeting Cards at the Henry Awards.

With the WPPI, an international photography association based in the USA, Judy has achieved outstanding success in their worldwide competition, which is held annually in Las Vegas:

2001 - 2nd place and highly commended at the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International awards in Las Vegas.
1999 - 2 of only 4 Highly Commended awards given out in the Animal section.
1998 - 1^st and 2^nd place in the Animal section, once again for her entertaining and enchanting animal photography.
1997 - 1^st place in the Animal section for her outstanding dog photography, along with five Highly Commended awards.
1996 - 2^nd place in the Wedding Category.

In New Zealand, Judy has attained outstanding success at the New Zealand Institute of Photographers (NZIPP) Print Awards, held annually. Judy has won 38 National NZIPP Gold and Silver Awards in New Zealand

She has her Master of Photography title from the NZIPP, with 2 Gold Bars, which means she has won enough awards to have attained her Master of Photography title twice over again.

Judy is a Qualified wedding and portrait member of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP)

She is also a member of the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI)

Judy's photographs have represented New Zealand in the Agfa Trans-Tasman competition held between New Zealand and Australia.
